The committee will hear reports from the Sheriff’s Department on two of their special units. Search and Rescue and Special Investigations. The former is exactly what it sounds like. We’re a big county with a lot of wild country to enjoy. Sometimes that means people run into trouble.

Special Investigations is dedicated to those crimes that require long term surveillance and detective work, especially drugs and human trafficking.

Lieutenant Cynthia Fajardo from Criminal Investigations will present.

Proposal №2018–102s, Amendments to the Road Standards

Standards for road construction are designed to protect the public and ensure consistency across the county. They not only government road construction by our County Road Department, but also roads built by private developers.

Proposal №2019–10, Long Term Ground Lease — Chambers Creek Properties
Sponsored by: Councilmember Pam Roach

On March 18th the Community Development Committee will conduct a hearing the proposed lease for resort development on the Chambers Creek Park and Golf Course. The resort was part of the proposal to generate revenue from the beginning but never built in part due to the Great Recession.

My Weekly Calendar

A couple of years ago we got a request for my forward-looking calendar. Rather than have staff waste their time on public record requests, I decided to publish screenshots. Now I’m adding a link to the calendar as well. If you have questions, feel free to call. Keep in mind, my schedule isn’t static. Things will get added, deleted, changed, etc. There are conflicts that I have to pick between. But if people want to see where I’m at and who I meet with, that’s fine by me.
